The Timeout Drawer was a post-rock band at the center of the Chicago post-rock and IDM scene from 1997 - 2005. They toured with and played alongside bands like K-rAd, DoMakeSayThink, Mono, Pelican, Fly Pan Am, Metric, Tristeza, The Album Leaf, Dalek, Emperor Penguin, Hrvatski, DJ Spooky, Alec Empire, Q-bert,TRS-80, Maserati, Quintron and Miss Pussycat, Smokey & Miho, and Damo Suzuki (Can).
